Upon arrival at Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist you and provide a brief introduction before transferring you by road to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay.
Destination: Arusha City
Meals: Bed & Breakfast
After breakfast, we depart early in the morning for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River that flows through the park. This lifeline, sometimes referred to as the “Warthog River,” provides the only reliable source of water for wildlife in the area during the dry season.
In some areas, the vegetation is remarkably dense, with vast stands of elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forests. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant families, which can often be seen gathering along the river. You may also encounter giraffes, gazelles, and hartebeests, along with a variety of predators, including lions and leopards.
Tarangire National Park is also renowned for its exceptional birdlife, with an extraordinary diversity of breeding bird species.
After lunch and an extensive game drive, we continue to our partner lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Destination: Tarangire National Park
Meals: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast, we depart early in the morning for Lake Manyara National Park, an unspoiled paradise renowned for its abundant birdlife and famous tree-climbing lions.
The dramatic western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley forms the park’s western boundary, while the shallow, alkaline waters of Lake Manyara stretch across much of the eastern side. The lake expands and contracts with the seasons, becoming home to thousands of flamingos during the rainy season.
The name “Manyara” comes from the Maasai word “emanyara,” referring to a plant traditionally used to create protective fencing around family homesteads, known as bomas.
The park features a remarkable variety of habitats, ranging from open savannah and grasslands to lush evergreen forests. As you explore, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and elephants. If you are lucky, you may even spot the park’s famous lions resting high in the trees.
After lunch and an extensive game drive, we continue to our partner lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Destination: Lake Manyara National Park
Meals: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast, you will descend approximately 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater.
The crater was formed two to three million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and subsequently collapsed inward. Today, it is renowned for its remarkable geological features and as a natural wildlife sanctuary supporting one of the highest concentrations of large mammals in Africa.
The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself. Once you reach the crater floor, you will soon find yourself surrounded by abundant wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as more than 500 species of birds. The crater also offers one of the best opportunities to spot the endangered black rhinoceros, which can sometimes be seen grazing across the open grasslands.
After lunch and an extensive game drive inside the crater, we continue toward the Serengeti, where you will relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night at your selected tented camp or lodge.
Destination: Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Park
Meals: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After an early breakfast, we continue our wildlife adventure with a full-day game drive through Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti is truly spectacular, renowned for its vast open plains that offer exceptional opportunities for wildlife viewing. It is Tanzania’s oldest national park and forms part of one of the oldest ecosystems on Earth. For millions of years, its climate and vegetation have remained remarkably consistent, supporting an extraordinary diversity of wildlife.
Although the Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of animals, it is perhaps best known for the Great Migration. Vast herds of wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebras and gazelles, move across the plains in an annual cycle in search of fresh grazing. The exact timing and route of the migration are largely determined by the seasonal rainfall patterns each year.
After lunch and an extensive game drive, we continue to our partner tented lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Destination: Serengeti National Park
Meals: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast, you will head directly to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ). Upon arrival, travel through historic Stone Town before continuing to Nungwi on the northern coast of Zanzibar, renowned for its beautiful white coral-sand beaches that seem to glow even after sunset.
Although Nungwi is lively and vibrant, it still offers a sense of tranquility and seclusion. Its expansive coastline provides plenty of space for swimming and snorkeling, with some of the most pristine and coral-rich waters in Africa. It is also one of the few beaches in Zanzibar that is less affected by extreme tidal changes, making it ideal for enjoying water activities throughout the day.
Deep-sea fishing around Nungwi is exceptional, with opportunities to catch species such as kingfish, dorado, yellowfin tuna, and large marlin in the waters of the Indian Ocean.
There is plenty to enjoy, from nature walks and sunset cruises to diving excursions and parasailing. Yet sometimes, all it takes to fall in love with this enchanting African beach is watching traditional dhows gently sailing across the ocean as the sun sets.
You will spend five nights in this incredible destination, giving you plenty of time to relax, explore, and enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar’s northern coast.
Destination: Nungwi, Northern Zanzibar Coast
Meals: Half Board (Breakfast & Dinner)
Lunch is not included.
After breakfast, enjoy some time to relax at your hotel in Zanzibar before being transferred directly to the airport or ferry terminal for your onward journey, marking the end of your epic African adventure.
