Distance: 130 km
You will be picked up from Arusha and transferred to Lake Manyara National Park.
We will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. This park is one of Tanzania’s most scenically spectacular wildlife areas, centred around a vast but shallow soda lake that covers approximately two-thirds of the park and lies at the foot of the dramatic western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley.
The park’s diverse habitats attract a remarkable variety of wildlife, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos drawn to the algae-rich waters of the lake.
Dinner and overnight accommodation will be arranged according to the selected accommodation standard and category.
Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner
Non-Game-Drive Travel Time: 6 hours
Distance: 205 km
After breakfast, we will travel through the beautiful highland farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, we will stop at Olduvai Gorge, known as the “Cradle of Mankind,” where the Leakey family discovered fossils of Homo habilis dating back approximately 1.75 million years. Alternatively, you may choose to visit an authentic Maasai village, where you will be welcomed into a traditional Maasai home and experience this unique culture firsthand.
We will arrive in time for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive in the heart of the Serengeti, one of the world’s most renowned wildlife migration corridors.
As the afternoon unfolds, with its vast open spaces, brilliant blue skies, and landscapes teeming with life, you will discover why the legendary Serengeti embodies the dream of “old Africa.” Large prides of lions lounge lazily in the tall grass, families of elephants strip bark from acacia trees and communicate across the plains, while giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, antelopes, and countless other African wildlife species appear in breathtaking numbers.
Dinner and overnight accommodation will be arranged in the Seronera area according to the selected accommodation standard and category.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast, you will spend the entire day on a game drive in Serengeti National Park, with a picnic lunch served at a designated picnic site along the way. Your guide will do their best to locate wildlife and position you at some of the best viewing spots in the park. Naturally, the Great Migration also attracts predators, and if you are lucky, you may witness a dramatic hunt in action.
Dinner and overnight accommodation will be arranged according to the selected accommodation standard and category.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Non-Game-Drive Travel Time: 4 hours
Distance: 145 km
Be among the fortunate few to soar above the Serengeti Plains on an unforgettable hot-air balloon safari (available at an additional cost and by prior arrangement). Drift peacefully above the awakening bushland as you take in breathtaking views of the African landscape and spot wildlife below, while flying over rivers and numerous small villages.
After a relaxed morning and brunch, you will continue your game-viewing journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, your professional driver-guide will share fascinating insights into Tanzania’s wildlife and natural beauty, pointing out and describing the animals you encounter en route to the Ngorongoro Crater.
Dinner and overnight accommodation will be arranged in the Ngorongoro area according to the selected accommodation standard and category.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
You will begin your day early with a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries. Carrying a picnic lunch, you will descend to the crater floor, often described as the “Garden of Eden of Africa” and recognised as one of the world’s great natural wonders.
With a reliable supply of water and year-round grazing, the crater supports an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and magnificent African elephants.
Another major attraction of this picturesque natural wonder is its impressive concentration of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards, which may sometimes require a trained eye to spot.
You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater and one of its most prominent features. The lake is often home to large numbers of flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds.
Dinner and overnight accommodation will be arranged according to the selected accommodation standard and category.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

You will then be transferred to your hotel or airport, bringing our safari services to an end.
