Your adventure begins in Nairobi, where you’ll be welcomed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You’ll then be transferred to your Nairobi hotel for a well-deserved rest before your safari.
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s famous wildlife reserve. Your lodge or camp accommodations within the reserve will immerse you in the wild. Over the next two days, enjoy game drives to witness the Great Migration, Mara River crossings, and encounters with the Big Five.
Cross into Tanzania and head to the Serengeti, another key location along the Great Migration route. Your family-friendly accommodations within the park ensure a seamless experience. Explore the Serengeti’s vast plains on game drives, with opportunities to witness river crossings and iconic African wildlife.
Today, you’ll journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a geological wonder teeming with wildlife. Enjoy a full day of game drives, with chances to spot the Big Five, rhinos, and diverse birdlife. You’ll also visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture.
Your Great Migration Safari concludes with a return to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for optional activities in Nairobi. Finally, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure, carrying cherished memories of this incredible wildlife spectacle.
