1Day 1: Nairobi Airport to Nairobi
This is the beginning of 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safaris. Meet on arrival and transfer to Nairobi for dinner and overnight.
2 Day 2: Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi in the morning and transferred to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, located 5-6 hours drive away from Nairobi. Enjoy game drives en-route before dinner and overnight stay at your camp. Accommodation: Sarova Mara Game Camp.
3Day 3 – 4: Full Day at Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
The Masai Mara with its savannahs, grasslands and undulating hills all combine to set the scene for the splendor of a Kenyan safari. Spend a full day in this wild game park to experience the ultimate adventure in Kenya before returning to camp. Accommodation: Sarova Mara Game Camp
4Day 5: Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park.
Today, you cross the Kenya-Tanzania border and arrive at the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Hundreds of thousands of wildebeest can congregate at crossing points: all crossing in a single continuous wave of beasts. And all this while tooth and claw are waiting around the sides to pick off the weak and the careless. Enjoy game drives in the Serengeti, with “plains that never end”. 5Day 6 : Full day at Serengeti National Park
Spending more days here increases your chance to witness endless herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River. The shifting columns of the herds as they traverse the valleys and the hills can only be watched in awe. There is nothing else like this on earth.
Return to camp in late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.

6Day 7: Full Day at Serengeti National Park
Rise early in the morning to catch up with the early risers. You can go for an optional hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti plains. (Extra fees apply.) Or, go for a morning drive for an amazing game viewing experience. This is the place where you will spend much of time within 13 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safaris.
There is no bad time to visit the Serengeti as every season has its own special highlight – even the rainy season has the daily thunder and lightning to look forward to. Changing seasons and light patterns form the most beautiful backdrop to view Africa’s majestic and incredible wildlife.
7Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater rim
Enjoy morning game drive in central and southern Serengeti then drive toward Ngorongoro Crater rim via Olduvai Gorge. You can have an optional stop in the Olduvai area, where the hominid and other significant archaeological discoveries have been made. (Optional activity: fees extra.). 8Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire.
Leave very early in the morning for game viewing in Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the Ngorongoro caldera to view the wildlife on the crater floor. In the afternoon, proceed to Tarangire where you will have dinner and spend your evening. After dinner, you have the option to go for a night game drive where you will get to spot nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, civets, genets, serval cats, bush babies and various night birds. 9Day 10: Tarangire National Park to Arusha

Tarangire National Park is probably one of the least visited of the northern Tanzanian game parks, and retains a real air of undiscovered Africa, particularly in the south of the park. Just two hours drive away from Arusha. It is named after the Tarangire River that flows through the park. The swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties, the largest number of species in one habitat anywhere in the world; on drier ground, the Kori bustard – the heaviest flying bird – can be found.
Leave Tarangire in the afternoon and drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

10Day 11: Arusha to Amboseli National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, you can go for an optional tour around Arusha town to visit the Maasai Market, Cultural Heritage, Arusha Museum of Natural History, curio shops, or the Tanzanite Experience before crossing the Tanzania-Kenya border at Namanga to proceed to Amboseli. 11Day 12: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi
Early breakfast at the lodge then go for game drives in Amboseli National Park located at the Kenya-Tanzania border. Amboseli National Park is a fantastic park to visit on the Kenya and Tanzania border, in front of the world’s finest photographic backdrop. Accommodation: Nairobi Serena Hotel
12Day 13: Nairobi to Nairobi Airport
After a leisurely breakfast, go for an optional Nairobi city tour in the morning, before transfer to Nairobi International Airport for your departure flight home.
